What will I find here?

They purpose of this website is to sell tickets for Bear Carnival events, to be held in Gran Canaria. Underage persons are forbidden to book or access these events. Additional items may include T-shirts, VIP wristbands and donations to our charity.

Payments and refunds

Refunds are guaranteed if you cannot attend an event for any COVID-19 related issue or any other official travel restriction in your country or in Spain. The rest of the cases (change of mind, or any issue not related to COVID19) should be covered by an inexpensive travel insurance you can get anywhere. If you cannot attend an event you booked for, and you are not covered by this refund policy or a travel insurance, we still offer you an alternative: reselling your ticket at this very website, for free.

Are online payments secure?

Our whole site is encrypted using SSL technology, as your brower will tell you (see the padlock icon next to our web address?) Thanks to this, your credit card data is securely managed by Banco de Santander’s payment gateway.

What will I see at my credit card statement?

Every transaction will appear as “BEAR CARNIVAL”. If this may be a problem, we suggest to get your ticket from our Info-Kiosk at Yumbo Centre and pay in cash.

Tickets and events

Can I get a ticket for a sold out event?

Possibly! We provide two free services for this:

  • Resales. Please visit our ticket resale page for possible listings from other visitors.
  • Waitlists. Just look for the sold out event and click on “join waitlist”. You will be instantly notified by e-mail if an event is expanded. This has happened several times before (especially with our popular island tours), if we see an exceptional demand.

Why and when should I book?

Not all events on our programme are sold here. Only those with a limited capacity are offered on this store, as tickets for many of them are usually unavailable even before the bear week begins. The boat cruises, tours and spa evenings, together with the official T-shirts, are usually the first ones to sell out. Last edition, we were even close to reach the maximum capacity of the main pool party at AxelBeach. So yes, it is very advisable to book those tickets we offer here.

Apart from this bookable events, there are many free to attend parties, and specialty events held at big clubs (ie, Bunker) which need no booking.

How does the ticketing system work?

After purchasing your ticket, you will receive an e-mail with a QR code. Our doormen will scan that code at the entrance of the event your booked for. Just show it on paper or screen (please set your screen to maximum brightness), and you’re in. If you loose your ticket, we will have a backup list with names and surnames, but your entry may be delayed.

Can I order a special dish on a food event?

If you are allergic or vegetarian/vegan, please specify your condition on the notes field of your booking, or just e-mail us. We will do our best to satisfy your needs. However, cruises have a set menu (you can have a salad-only dish if requested), and you can always bring your own food if necessary.

Extra items

How will you deliver my T-shirt and VIP wristbands?

You can collect your pre-booked items from the Info-Kiosk, in the back of Kiki Bar and Bunker (Yumbo Centre, ground floor), open every night from 21h. Please visit the Maps page for directions.

What are the donations exactly?

This year’s partner charity is Elomar again. It is a registered local food bank constantly raising money to buy food for the underprivileged families in Gran Canaria. Elomar has been backed by many gay businesses in Maspalomas for years, and Bear Carnival has also been giving a hand since 2019. We will be collecting money for their volunteers and organizers by mean of special fundraising events, sales, and also our online shop donation page. 100% of the raised money will be donated to Eloma. As every year, we will publish the proofs of donation on our Facebook page short after the bear week.
